Artemis announces call for art, photography, poetry and literary entries for 2015 arts journal. The deadline is February 15th.
Artemis is an award-winning annual publication dedicated to fostering art and literary excellence in the Blue Ridge mountain region. The 96-page color journal publishes over 80 regional artists and writers. Contributors range from seasoned professionals with many merits, to artists and writers being published for the first time.
Contributors who are accepted into the Journal will receive a complimentary copy at the book launch to be held at the Roanoke Community High School Theater on April 24th. This special event will feature the acclaimed Beth Macy, author of the New York Times bestseller, “Factory Man”, and will be an evening to celebrate the arts with fellow writers and artists in our community.
Submission deadline is February 15, 2015.
- Submit up to 5 poems, 2 short stories, 2 essays, 5 fine art images, or 5 photos
- A brief bio
- Publication quality images (300 dpi at 8 x 10”).
- Include name, mailing address, e-mail and phone number with each entry.
